Thoughts For the New Year

From Libby Barnett

"Tomorrow Is Not Promised" by Reiki Master Jet Lie, Thailand

Sometimes people come into your life

and you know right away that they were meant to be there,

they serve some sort of purpose,

teach you a lesson

or help figure out who you are

and who you want to become....

"Continue" by Maya Angelou

My wish for you

Is that you continue

   Continue

To be who and how you are

To astonish a mean world

With your acts of kindness...

Eileen McCusick encourages us: "to remember that you are the light you are seeking. And this light that powers you is the same light that powers the sun and the stars, the lightning and the lightning bugs and the cosmos."

Deepak Chopra agrees, reminding us that we are one with the unified field, the Universe, so if a desire for 2020 bubbles up, we have the ability to create it.

As we evaluate 2019, we can do as Maya Angelou suggests - continue what works and is fulfilling. However, if something no longer serves you, it's a good time to let it go.

As we focus on creating what will bring us joy in 2020, sometimes we're hesitant to declare what we're wanting for fear it won't manifest. Yet Clair Zammit states the Universe is always orchestrating itself around our success, and Ester Hicks/Abraham is always telling us the Universe has our back.

As Erin Hanson says:

“There is freedom waiting for you,

On the breezes of the sky,

And you ask "What if I fall?"

Oh but my darling,

What if you fly?”

Have a wonderful, fulfilling, adventurous, creative, healthy, enlightening year.
